Treadmill shopping is like the car shopping, you get what you payed for. Consider buying a $1,000 treadmill if you want to use it mainly for walking and some jogging from time to time. For a jogging treadmill, look to spend around $1300, and $1500 or more if you plan on pounding that treadmill. I think we can all understand that many of use do not have a large budget and we are not sure how to use the treadmill and for how long. And this is where Proform machines really stand off, they have a great value to offer.
You should be aware of the fact that Proform fitness equipment is not made for heavy usage, which means intensive workouts and heavy individuals won’t be tolerated. Treadmills come with suggested weight limits, like the calorie counter feature, the numbers are ridiculously optimistic. You can easily find a model from Proform that will suits your needs, since this brand is the main line in the Icon Fitness strategy.
It is quite a value for the price being in the budget category. The ProForm treadmills’ specs match or exceed the competition in the same group of treadmills.Just compare them to the Horizon treadmills and you will see what I mean. ICON Fitness manufactures their machines, even the budget lines, with some pretty impressive series of programs designed to help you reach you fitness goals.
You should be informed about Proform treadmills in any way possible, if you are considering purchasing one of them. It is also not a great idea to go as low as you possibly can. I strongly suggest you do not take a model with less than 2 horse power motor. It is not recommended to get anything that is smaller in size, since it won’t stand high intensity workouts or heavy weight. Buy a Sole exercising machine if more power is what you want. Just make sure you have enough room to do the workout and actually enjoy it without cramping.
