Acne Free with 5 Easy Tips

The word acne can bring chills to anyone, especially an adolescent knee-deep in puberty or even an adult who struggles with the normal breakouts of life.  But acne doesn’t have to be an end because anyone can become acne free.  Below, five easy tips are outlined to help you rid acne.

  1. Be sure to drink plenty of water and make healthy food choices.Start healing your skin from the inside out because this is important.Hydrating your skin can be done by drinking plenty of water.Making healthful food choices nourishes your body and helps it to get rid of toxins properly, and not through your skin.Choose foods that are high in omega-3 fatty acids and anti-oxidants to help keep your skin healthy and assist in the glow of new skin cells.By eating foods high in vitamin E, you can help reduce the appearance of current acne scars.  It is best to choose foods that don’t come in a carry-out bag, or allow a long shelf life. 
  2. Keep your face clean, daily - Daily cleansing of your skin is important, and for some is a no-brainier.Your skin can pick up oils and debris throughout the day and even while you sleep, so cleansing twice a day is often recommended.You should try to use a soap that is mild and formulated for your skin type.Removing the dead skin cells that clog your pours can be done quickly and easily with regular exfoliation.  This can help you to become acne free.
  3. Exercise - Some may think that exercise is bad for your skin as the sweat that you bring to the surface can breed bacteria.  However, the exercise has a two-fold benefit in helping you become acne free.First of all, by reducing stress, it can make a great improvement on your skin.  Reducing stress is best for your skin.Secondly, to improve your body’s circulation, and bring a healthy supply of oxygen to your skin’s surface, you can exercise.Not to mention, exercise is recommended for the best overall health.
  4. Smoking adversely effects the skin and the function of many organs, so don’t smoke if you want clear skin.Toxins can clog up your skin’s pours.It is best to stop smoking, for the improvement of your skin and the rest of your body. 
  5. Stay out of the sun - Although some unhindered sun exposure is good of our skin and bodies, this time should be limited.  When you’re out in the sun for prolonged periods, you should wear a UV protected sunscreen.  

These tips are just a few that can help you rid acne.  Everyone wants to look their best and these are just a few steps in the right direction!
