Aromatic bath salts are placed into warm bath water and dissolve. They use aromatherapy for healing and improve the cleansing process. To create aromatic bath salts regular bath salts are infused with essential oils or some other aromatherapy agent. Since essential oils are fairly concentrated the salts help to dilute them. There are many reasons to using aromatic bath salts besides just enhancing the cleaning properties of your bath.

The salts are thought to be effective in easing minor pains in aches in your body. They can also be effective in lowering your anxiety and stress from a busy life and aid with joint pain and skin issues. Salts have the ability to change the osmotic balance.
