One of the most talked about skin care treatments practiced today is microdermabrasion. One has read in magazines, many times, of famous folk raving about the treatment and what wonders it has done with their skin. Not so long ago the only places where the treatment was available was in clinics and beauty spas, salons.
The first microderm treatments were carried out using incredibly fine abrasive medical grade crystals. The most important advantage to having a professional treatment is the equipment used are more powerful and so produce a better result.
Home microdermabrasion have become very popular as they do not cost as much to buy. Home microdermabrasion kits are commonly much milder, which, in the long run might mean you need to repeat the treatment more often before any results are visible. A common complaint concerning the home treatments are slight inflammation and irritation (commonly caused by using it too much or not following the instructions).
